Today our Principal Espe Kelly will be sharing some of her favorite tools for creating her around the world dishes. She will also share some recipes that she thought would be so hard but were surprisingly easy. POTS AND PANS![]() My top two pots and pans are the Le Creuset Dutch Oven and a cast iron pan. The dutch oven is great for soups, stews, curries, chili, deep frying and you can even bake bread in it. I use it like a slow cooker as well. The cast iron pan will need to be seasoned but once it is it will be a non stick pan. I use this pan for sauteing, bacon, eggs, and for cooking meat that I want to brown first then I can put the pan in the oven to finish cooking. You can buy the dutch oven in any cooking supply stores or order online. I have even seen them at places like Home Goods. Then there are garage sales that may have some. These are expensive but worth every penny and you really only need one. Make sure you use all organic ingredients and make sure the yogurt is full fat. Do not skimp, it is worth it.
